挑戰組：起點(苗栗縣立體育場)→為公路→國華路→台13線→南勢車站→苗銅自行車道→台13線→銅鑼→三義→八股路→中興道路→勝興車站(臺灣鐵路最高點)→苗49→龍騰斷橋→鯉魚國小(山線鐵路隧道群)→苗52→苗51(綠色隧道)→天使湖(西湖德興池)→台13線→正發路→英才路→終點(苗栗鐵道文物展示館)。
